The objective of this project was to create a rustic look with natural stonework.  The dry laid irregular flagstone pieces were installed with large gaps to allow grass to grow between the stones.  From the side entrance of the home there is a stone landing with large natural stone steps to the lower landing where you can enter onto the deck.  There is a dry stacked boulder retaining wall to support the small landing below the deck steps.  From the lower level you follow the steps down to the pool area.  Click on any of the pictures to see an enlarged view.
